Arena One: Slaverunners

Author: Morgan Rice
Published: February 2012

Genre: Action/Suspense
Pinky's Rating (out of 5): 5 stars

Being a fan of Morgan Rices' Vampire Journals, I was excited to see how the transition to a new style of writing in the Survival Trilogy went, and Arena One: Slaverunners didn't disappoint.

Set in post-apocalyptic New York 2120, from page one we are forced to sit down, buckle up and hang on for the ride as we are propelled along with the story of Brooke as she fights to save her sister from the Slaverunners.

Along the way she literally runs into Ben who wants to save his brother, and joins her on a remarkable journey that leads them to Arena One, where the only rule is: no one survives. Ever.

This is a fast paced, action packed story that I couldn't put down. If you are looking for something to get the blood pumping, then this is it.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.
