Introducing - For Nicky

a

Due out April 30, 2014
Elizabeth Decker views herself as shy, totally average, and pretty much insignificant. She’s nothing special, at least not compared to her little sister, Audrey. Elizabeth is content with her plain and lonely future; she’s too insecure to contemplate a relationship thanks to her sister. Audrey is a bombshell and uses this to get what she wants. She’s a girl who will stop at nothing to control anyone and everything around her. She craves power and doesn’t care if she has to hurt Elizabeth to get it.
Nathaniel Morgan has spent his whole life fighting for his twin brother, Nicholas. Somewhere along the way, he lost himself. Now he’s just getting by. He’s devoted to his family, but emotionally detached from the women he burns through like wildfire. He has no plans of getting into something as complicated and committed as a “relationship”.
Nicholas Morgan has placed the new librarian, Miss Elizabeth, on a pedestal and is begging her to meet his twin brother, Nathaniel. Elizabeth and Nathaniel agree to meet, for Nicky. Both are caught off-guard when unexpected sparks fly between them. This was not in their plans. Will Nathaniel and Elizabeth be able to escape a past that still plagues them? Or, will the past, suspicions, and insecurities come between them one too many times?
**This is a contemporary new adult romance. It should only be read by ages 18+ due to adult themes and situations. This book is a stand-alone.

What are people saying about the book so far??

A.D Ellis was born and raised in a small farming town in southern Indiana. An avid reader from the time she learned to read, A.D. could often be found curled up somewhere with her nose in a book. Most of her friends were not such book enthusiasts which earned her a few snickers when she was constantly reading.

A.D. had always dreamed of being a teacher. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University in 1999 and her Master’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan in 2003. A.D. has been teaching in the inner city of Indianapolis for 15 years. While she’s taught several different grades, fourth grade is her favorite. They are learning independence by 4th grade, but most haven’t learned the attitude yet. A.D. loves teaching fractions, variables, probability, and graphing in Math. She loves almost all aspects of English Language Arts. Figurative language, theme, making predictions, drawing conclusions, inference, context clues, making writing come to life, A.D. loves it all! Her students may not be in agreement with that excitement.

A.D. met her husband in college in 1996 and they married in June of 2000. A.D. lives in a south side suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband and two school-aged children. When she’s not reading or writing with music blaring, she can be found shopping at thrift stores, reading to her children, and running.

A.D. had always pondered the idea of writing a book, but until recently it was a far off dream. In today’s age of independently published authors, A.D. decided to take a chance and try her hand at writing. She has learned so much during this journey and is having a world of fun with it.

Introducing - Dragon Twins

Separated at birth...reunited by murder.

Behind the gates of an exclusive Lake City neighborhood, prominent businessman Don Chu’s housekeeper has been brutally murdered and his teenage daughter taken. The high-profile case has the Mayor himself sending the case across Detective Stan Brookshire’s desk. He barely has time to digest the details of the two sinister crimes before he’s called to yet another disturbing scene.

This time, at the other end of the city, another murder and attempted kidnapping ring out with a similarity too convenient for coincidence. As the clues fall into place and the evidence mounts, Stan starts to see a pattern emerge. A DNA match, and the two cases now become one. With the help of an unexpected young ally, Stan begins his search for a victim that may still be alive. It’s a race against the clock and across the globe that will test his skills to the absolute limit. Two murders. Two kidnappings. Twice the danger.

A loud noise startled Jade from her slight doze. As she straightened up in her chair, she glanced at the clock on her bedside table across the room that held her textbooks. Eleven thirty-five.

Leaning back at her desk, she reached over and felt the bowl of soup Wei-Lee, the family housekeeper, had brought. It had been piping hot but now it was tepid. She estimated she was out less than half an hour.

Another crash came from the direction of the kitchen. What on earth was Wei-Lee doing at this time of night to make that much noise?

Jade started to get up when the door to her room flew open and two almost identical Asian men burst into her room. Grabbing her before she could make a sound, her feet lashed out and knocked the books to the floor as they dragged her toward the door.

"You're coming with us," one of the men said in a thick, Chinese accent. "You can either come quietly or we'll drag you out."

“There’s no way I'm letting you take me anywhere!” she yelled, struggling against them. Their grip loosened and this time she racked her nails across one man’s cheek. Crying out in pain, he released her arm to protect his face.

She ran out of the bedroom and down the stairs hoping to find Wei-Lee or something to defend herself. Jade heard them running after her. Chancing a glance over her shoulder, she saw they were right behind her as she raced through the house trying to get to the kitchen.

She was almost there when a man stepped out of the doorway, into her path. He was Asian but what caught her attention was the knife in his hand. Red liquid dripped from it onto the tile floor. She managed to duck around him and into the kitchen where she was halted at the sight of Wei-Lee. She lay dead in a slowly spreading pool of blood.

A hand grabbed her shoulder and tried to spin her around. Her reflexes drove her forward, jumping over the housekeeper’s body she dove for the cordless phone to dial 911. She managed to dial two digits before the phone was knocked out of her hand and it went flying across the floor.

Rough hands grabbed her and tore her clothing as she tried to get away. It was useless. They were too strong. It was too much for her. The sight of the dead housekeeper, the men in her house...the blood. There was so much blood.

A hand reached up and put a cloth over her mouth, she fought against it but it was no use. She had no strength left. As her world faded to darkness the last thing she heard was, "Do not hurt her. Ling will not be happy if she is harmed."

"Suddenly everything comes to a stop. She looks around their surroundings and her eyes try to focus, finding nothing but blackness. A soft light appears in front of her. It begins to grow and pushes outward, claiming the darkness surrounding it. It continues to widen until light from the field begins to pour inside, illuminating Lisa and her surroundings. Her eyes peer through the portal and it's as if she were looking through water. The image is distorted and continues to move like a constant wake in still waters. She sees Gorgon to her right and she looks over, watching the demon next to her. Lisa's eyes trail down the demon's body then slowly, back up. You fuck this up, I will kill you.

Gorgon raises her brows, turning her body towards Lisa. She says, I'd like to see you try. She crosses her arms over her chest and glances back towards the portal doorway. But before you go down that route, we need to set a plan for how we'll do this. I can give you an idea of what we'll be facing, but honestly, I have no idea. I don't know the numbers of what you'll be up against. She lowers her gaze; then looks up slowly to Lisa. For what it's worth, I am sorry. And your son.

Lisa cuts her off. What I'll be up against? No, I don't think so. You are part of this too. And don't pretend to know anything about my son.

Gorgon simply nods and looks back out the portal. You're right. I am part of this. And all I was going to say is he's amazing. She lets it go. She furrows brows, steps forward, and looks through the distorted water. Demons and angels chase one another, fighting, swords clash and power is sent across the field. Bright colors of the many auras light up on the field like lightning strikes. Gorgon tries to focus on one of the images that is taking on an attack stance. Lisa?

Yeah, I see it. Lisa steps forward. The image is still muddled by the waves but she can make out Alex. He stalks forward in a stance of attack. Lisa looks at who he's pursuing and she gasps when she realizes it's Michael. Quickly, she looks back at Alex sees another man at his side. Her eyes widen in shock. What the Hell? Is that Samuel? Michael continues his backtracking and waves something long and shiny over his head. She begins to step out and Gorgon grabs her arm, stopping her.

Samuel is very strong. If he's already taken Alex's light
He has. Lisa looks at the demon. I know you knew he'd do this. I know you were his accomplice. And I also know you grew a conscience around us and turned yourself in.

What? Gorgon blinks; taken aback. How What She bites back the words she wants to say, she helped orchestrate this, she killed off the demon Xander, she killed off Mariah when her human was annoying her. Instead, she keeps her thoughts to herself.

You know exactly how I know. She looks at the demon and raises a single brow, daring her to object.
Alright. is all Gorgon says, then she looks back out at the field. Then let me go first. I can be a diversion, for you to get to Alex and get out of here.

No. Lisa pulls her arm free from Gorgon. Let me. They'll never see me coming. She turns back to Gorgon. I still hate what you are, but what you did? Obviously I forgive you. As for you willingly volunteering to protect my son thank you.

Gorgon blinks at her, not sure what to say. Instead, she nods slightly, then they both look towards the field. I promise I'll have your back. No matter what. Lisa keeps her eyes on the fighting in the field and nods.

You better, she tells the demon. Michael stumbles over a tree root and falls back on his ass. The two demons sneer down at him and Alex is about to lunge. Lisa and Gorgon step forward and as Lisa is about to step through to make herself known, Samuel sneers and holds an orb of golden light in front of him. She pauses long enough to realize this is Alex's soul. Her eyes widen as he brings up his free hand, holding a dagger. She shifts her gaze and watches Alex prepare to jump on Michael. Moving on instinct, she barrels out of the portal. Lisa pushes her hands out in front of her and a bright, purple light explodes from her as she screams, NO!!!!"
