My Thoughts

Pleasant Day was certainly a pleasant read !

Pleasant Day is a truly wonderful story that binds two people who could not be further apart but share a bond that is truly mystical.

As the story progresses we are immersed in the wonderful southern atmosphere that surrounds their small town Hollow Creek, and learn the truth about the ties that bind them together.

With a smattering of suspense and with a whole lot of humour thrown in, we watch the character of Pleasant develop as she learns more about who she is and how she is linked to Clarissa.

This is a totally believable story that could happen in any small town, and the reader is drawn into the imagery and descriptions that make it easy to relate to the townspeople and their truly memorable lives.

Pinky's Rating (out of 5): 4 dragonflies
